Report on the Grand Programs of the Panchakalyanak Pratishtha Mahotsav

For the past two decades, seekers have eagerly awaited the installation of the Jambudweep Eternal Jinayatan and the meditative Bahubali Munindra statue with anticipation, akin to the eager longing of a chataka bird for rain. After years of dedicated preparations (as described in later sections 6.0 and 7.0), the moment finally arrived. On Wednesday, January 17, 2024, the excitement among the devotees was visible, as the introductory rituals of the Panchakalyanak Pratishtha Mahotsav, including the Kalash Ghata Puran ceremony and the purification of the flagstaff, were about to commence.

The ceremonies involved: 1. The Nandi Vidhan Adi with 3 Kalashas, 2. The placement of 134 Kalashas on the pedestal of the Jinendra Bhagwan, 3. Four Kalashas for the Panch Parmeshthi Vidhan, and 4. Four Kalashas for the Yaag Mandal Vidhan. These rituals were joyously completed in the morning by the Pratishthacharyas after the abhisheka and worship of Jinendra Bhagwan.

Thereafter, following a discourse by the revered (Pu.) Gurudevshree, the devotees, carrying the Nandi Vidhan Kalashas with great devotion and fanfare, proceeded to the residence of revered (Pu.) Bahenshree, where the Kalashas were placed before the portrait of the revered (Pu.) Bahenshree-fondly referred to as Bhagvati Mata. The devotees felt blessed and sensed the divine presence of revered (Pu.) Gurudevshree and revered Pu. Bhagvati Mata. After this homage and respect, the Nandi Vidhan Kalashas were installed at the home of the Tirthankar Bhagwan’s parents. This moment was graced by the Bhagwan’s parents, Indra-Indrani such as Saudharma and Shachi, Ashta Kumari Devis, Brahmachari sisters, and various celestial beings (Swadhyayee Dev-Devi).
